My name is Caroline Flynn and I provide Lactation, Infant Feeding and Early Parenting Education & Support Services to families with children 0 - 2 years, living within and nearby to the Sutherland Shire and St. George areas of Sydney.
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Registered Nurse & Midwife and hold qualifications in Child & Family Health Nursing (Tresillian) and Post Graduate Qualifications in Lactation & Infant Feeding (UTS) & Adult Education (UTS)
I have a broad range of expertise and I am well qualified and experienced across all infant / toddler and parenting related issues.
I conduct consultations in the comfort of your own home and use the resources you have available at home.
Excellent Medicare rebates apply for Prenatal & Postnatal home visits, up until your infant is 6 weeks and 6 days old (not exceeding 7 weeks of age).
I also have Ancillary Provider Numbers with most Private Health Funds, that are not limited by the age of your infant / child. Rebates will depend on you having "Extras Cover" for you and your infant / child.

Breastfeeding
It is well known that breastfeeding is the natural way to feed human infants and that it offers a multitude of protective factors and benefits to mothers, infants / children, families and the environment.
However, what is not so well known, is that breastfeeding is a learned skill for each mother and baby and this takes a little time, patience and practice, with every learning journey being unique.
Many mothers have stopped breastfeeding in what seems to be overwhelming & difficult circumstances, when all they needed may have been timely information, support and encouragement to achieve their feeding goals.
Caroline will support and coach you through any difficulties, helping to build your skills and confidence, so you can get of to a great start with your feeding and parent - child relationship.
